Our client Samsung Electronics France is recruiting a Client & Agency sales manager (H/F).

With the proliferation of Connected Smart TVs, Samsung Ads has developed a new platform to bridge TV and digital together. For the first time, advertisers can use real-time viewing behaviour to reach consumers in new and innovative ways. Samsung’s Advertising Sales Team operates at the intersection of display advertising and connected televisions offering advertising solutions with the goal of helping their advertisers reach their target audiences across our TV platform and beyond. Samsung unique first party data is a new initiative with the potential for massive growth and opportunity.

Having recently won AdAge Best Places to Work Award 2020, they are looking for a person who likes early stage opportunities and would like to join a rapidly growing team to help define the next chapter within a nascent hyper growth advertising business.

Samsung Ads (part of ESBO – European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The EU advertising team is working to create value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into content consumption in the shifting media landscape.

Vos missions

The Ad Sales Manager is responsible for evangelizing the advanced TV advertising business and building the client base for the Samsung Ads European business. This person will build relationships with high-potential advertisers, presenting Samsung’s cutting edge marketing solutions to senior executives at major brands and their agencies.

The Ad Sales Manager will be empowered to develop sales pipelines and to develop a strategy for long-term success by uncovering the business needs of key clients. This position will work closely with the account management team to help make a world class brand building solution for advertisers and to ensure our clients achieve their advertising goals.

  • Initiate, structure and negotiate high impact partnerships with French advertisers and agencies
  • Build, prioritise, manage and communicate an active pipeline of brands
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets as a trusted advisor through data driven approach.
  • Leverage communication and relationship-building skills to develop new business.
  • Educate new advertisers on the benefits of advanced TV and persuade them to shift their marketing strategies from traditional media to digital/advanced TV
  • Analysis of Proprietary Samsung TV data to create compelling sales insights that drive revenue outcomes.

The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have an entrepreneurial mind-set, taking ownership in creating opportunities.

  • Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities
  • 10-15 years of experience in full lifecycle sales at a media-owner, or media-agency with experience in TV advertising, digital media, and advertising platforms.
  • Specific CTV experience will be valued
  • Strong advertisers and agencies network
  • Experience building a book of business and managing against quotas.
  • Understanding of TV digital media and the online and TV advertising industry.
  • Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient. Thrives in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.
  • BA/BS required
